Early Adopter & Beta Programme Addendum

Version 1.0Effective Mile End Media Limited

Supplements the Business or Consumer Terms of Service during the Early Access Period.

This Addendum forms part of, and should be read together with, whichever Terms of Service apply to you (Business or Consumer). If there is a conflict during the Early Access Period, this Addendum prevails — except that nothing in it removes rights a consumer has by law.

1. What "Early Access" means

The "Early Access Period" is the period during which we make subscription applications available as an early-stage product to early adopters, before general availability ("GA"). During this period the Service is under active development. It may contain bugs or incomplete features, may change (including features being added, altered or removed), and may be unavailable from time to time. We provide the Service during the Early Access Period on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. No service levels; keep your own backups

During the Early Access Period we do not offer a service level agreement or any uptime guarantee. We aim for good availability and will work to fix problems promptly, but you should not rely on the Service for time-critical or mission-critical purposes and you should keep your own backups of anything important. This does not reduce our commitment to keeping the Service secure and to taking reasonable care.

3. Early adopter pricing

  • As an early adopter you pay a reduced "founder" price in recognition of the product's early stage. This is offered transparently in exchange for your understanding of the limitations described in this Addendum.
  • Your founder price is held for as long as your subscription stays active. It is not an introductory rate and it does not expire after a fixed period. If our standard prices rise — including when the Service reaches general availability — your price does not change while you remain continuously subscribed on the plan you joined.
  • If you move to a different plan, the price of that plan applies from the change. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, founder pricing may no longer be available on re-subscription.

4. Feedback

We value early adopter feedback. If you give us feedback, suggestions or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them to improve the Service, with no obligation to you.

5. End of the Early Access Period

We will tell you before the Early Access Period ends and the Service moves to general availability. At that point GA terms may apply, subject to the notice and change protections in your Terms of Service. Your founder price survives the move to general availability for as long as you remain subscribed — see Section 3. We may also decide not to proceed to GA; if we discontinue the Service we will give reasonable notice and refund any pre-paid period you will not receive.
